OPEN STUDIO - pottery making

Join us for OPEN STUDIO - pottery making on 2026-04-29 at 17:00, MATE Ceramics - R. do Fontanário 1, 2640-401 Mafra, Portugal. Every Wednesday from 5 pm to 9 pm, the studio opens its doors to people interested in independently working on their own pottery projects. This is not a workshop but I’ll be around to answer questions. How it works: Pre-book your seat at the handbuilding-table or wheel. You can book two or four hours, if you’re working on a larger project. Please note that you’ll have to clean your tools and workspace after finishing. After 2–3 weeks, you’ll come back (book another spot*) to glaze your pieces. They will then be fired again and ready for pickup after another 2–3 weeks. *You can also book a glazing service. In that case I’ll take care of the glazing and you can pick up your pieces once they’re ready. Please book the glazing service through the website or in the studio. Clay, glazes, tools and bisque firing are included in the price. For the glaze firing, I’ll weigh your pieces after firing and charge 1€/100g of ceramics....
